Meet The Management Team
DENISE HELMS, RN
Chief Executive Officer
Denise Helms, RN, BSN has over twenty five years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Helms began caring for the elderly as a volunteer candy striper at a nursing home while still in middle school. When she reached high school, she became a nursing assistant and worked as such through college. The next logical step was to pursue a degree in nursing.
Denise’s nursing experiences include time as an Intensive Care Unit RN, Director of Nursing for a skilled nursing facility, and a nurse consultant for long term care facilities, long term acute care hospitals, and assisted living facilities.
In 2002, Denise was invited to join a group of innovative thinkers in the formation of a post-acute health care company that specialized in Skilled Nursing Facilities with a Home Health Agency. Over the last 13 years, her experiences with Legend Health Care have provided the opportunity to participate in the forming of Accountable Care Organizations and the development and nurturing of multiple partnerships with local hospitals in several regions throughout Texas. Additionally, she was selected to serve on the Medicaid Managed Care Advisory Committee for Molina Healthcare.
Denise has spoken before the Texas State Legislators on matters related to elder care and has participated as a panelist at national healthcare symposiums. She has conducted numerous educational seminars for both internal and external healthcare professionals. Her roles at Legend Healthcare have included, Senior VP of Clinical Services, Chief Compliance Officer and Staff Development as well as Director of Business Development.
Recently, Mrs. Helms has been appointed to serve on two different committees for the State of Texas. The Texas Health and Human Services Commissioner, Charles Smith, appointed the advisory committee members for two newly approved state committees. The Texas Respite Advisory Committee’s purpose is to advise regarding the improvement of coordination and availability of respite care in Texas. The Aging and Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee’s purpose is to develop and implement a successful and sustainable operation in Texas for developing available resources and giving Texans a “No Wrong Door” approach to finding resources when needed.

Chief Operating Officer
Robert Helms has extensive experience in operating and managing business operations. In 1991, after ten years in the food and beverage industry, Rob entered the financial services field as Registered Representative. It was here that he honed his relationship management skills. The challenge of developing personalized financial solutions for individuals and small businesses taught him the importance of understanding every aspect of an individual’s situation and circumstance.
With 12 years of financial services experience, Rob moved to the oil and gas business, where he focused on drilling projects for his clients. After several years and with a seasoned partner, Rob launched his own drilling and exploration company. In a few short years with numerous projects under their belt, an opportunity to sell the assets was presented. This provided a great opportunity for Rob to spend more time with his growing children, dedicate himself to volunteer projects and work from home to develop a portfolio of real estate properties that he continues to manage today.
In 2012, Rob was asked by a local school counselor to establish and lead a grassroots volunteer organization. The goal was to come alongside the mother and 2 year old sister of a 15 year old boy who was facing a heart transplant. With a team of 40+ volunteers, the organization was able to raise over $150,000 for medical and other expenses. Additionally, Rob and his family were able to provide care for the 2 year old while her mother was in Houston for 7 months waiting for and through the transplant recovery. Out of this experience, Rob has developed an acute understanding of how life changing events can affect a family and the extreme value of help and support as these changes unfold.

PAIGE WOLK, BSW, CDP
Senior Vice President, Certified Dementia Practitioner
Paige Wolk, BSW, CDP has over twenty years of experience in the Senior Care Industry. She began her career as a Social Worker in a skilled nursing facility. Mrs. Wolk was active in the Social Work community, earning such distinctions as Social Worker of the Year by the National Association of Social Workers and Social Worker of the Year by the Society for Social Work Leadership in Healthcare, Texas Chapter.
Her experiences with the elderly include Social Work, Business Development, Public Relations, Advocacy, Community Education and Marketing for long term care facilities and subacute units. For the past 6 years, Paige was employed with Rehab Synergies, a Rehabilitation Services Provider serving as the Director of Marketing and Recruitment.
Mrs. Wolk has a passion for the elderly with particular interest in Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) and volunteers regularly for Dementia and Alzheimer’s related causes.
Paige is married with three children and resides in the mid-cities. She enjoys cheering on her twin boys at the hockey rink and recently became an OU Fan (Boomer! Sooner!) given her daughter is attending the University of Oklahoma this fall.
Paige is passionate about the Senior Care Industry and excited to be working with Overture Home Care.
MINDY CAMPBELL, RN, BSN
Mindy Campbell, RN, BSN has enjoyed a long and multi-faceted career as a Registered Nurse in Texas. Her nursing experience began in the St. Joseph Hospital Emergency Department as a staff nurse here in Fort Worth. She then accepted a challenging position at Harris Methodist as an Emergency Department nurse and flight nurse for CareFlite, eventually taking on the role of Emergency Department head nurse at Harris HEB. Mrs. Campbell has tremendous experience in the delivery of care in the home, having spent over 12 years providing home infusion therapy (2 years) and hospice/palliative (10 years) as case manager and admissions nurse. Mindy’s skills and demeanor make her perfectly suited for the role of Nurse Liaison with Overture Home Care. In her position, she conducts client assessments, develops customized plans of care and provides ongoing Care Aide training and supervision on many of the RN Managed Care cases Overture has. Mindy and her husband Rick have raised three children, who are now grown and have provided them with five beautiful grandchildren, a source of joy for both of them. The Campbells are members at Northside Baptist Church and their strong faith and devotion to family provide the guiding principles for their lives.
Mindy has a passion for the elderly as well as a dedication to quality of care. These traits make her a valuable member and a tremendous asset to the Overture Home Care leadership team.
