Denise Helms, RN, BSN, CDP, has over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, working with older adults in all facets of healthcare. After a long career that included traveling for work, Denise and her husband, Rob Helms, decided they wanted to start a business that served older adults in their own community. Realizing that almost all adults, as they face aging, would prefer to age in place, starting a non-medical home care agency seemed like the right solution. In 2015, Overture Home Care was started, and the desire to have an agency that set itself apart by providing adults with an exceptional experience with caregivers was formed.

Denise continues to participate in daily operations and work with her team to deliver what has become the “Overture Way” of serving others in their community. Her passion for the elderly and commitment to quality care provide the foundation and guiding principles that make Overture Home Care the preferred choice for home care services in both Fort Worth and Dallas.

Denise also spends her time staying active by supporting dementia-related organizations such as the Tarrant Area Gerontological Society, Dementia Live, Age-U-Cate, and UNTHSC C.A.R.E.S. support group, among many others. Denise maintains her certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and participates in her local community by serving on the Parker County Health Foundation Board.
