Overture Home Care is proud to announce our NEW Caregiver Skills Lab
Our Overture Home Care New Year’s resolution is to continue being even more responsive to the needs of our clients and the needs of our caregiving staff. As a big first step toward that goal, we are thrilled to announce that Overture Home Care has incorporated a Caregiver Skills Lab into our training curriculum for 2022.
We recently contracted with Home Care Pulse to survey our staff, allowing them full and anonymous freedom to tell us exactly what they need and want from management. We're more than a little proud that our caregivers demanded MORE TRAINING to better serve our clients (we love our learners!).
We're thrilled to provide them with that training. As of 2022, a new Caregiver Skills Lab will be part of the training process for all Overture Home Care aides. In the Skills Lab, our caregivers will get hands-on experience performing important tasks such as safe transfers, bathing, turning and repositioning, and incontinence care. Our clients and their families can have peace of mind knowing their Overture Home Care caregiver has proven competency in these essential daily skills.
And we're not done improving our training. Our nurses have wide expertise in the geriatric medical field, and they’re working to develop specialized skill sessions to add to our Lab curriculum. As unique situations arise with our clients, our caregivers will be ready to help.
If you have family members in need of assistance and caregiving resolutions of your own to fulfill, call us 24/7 at (817) 887-9401 for a free consultation. Find out what our compassionate caregivers can do to help — even more in 2022!
