With Overture Home Care (and TAGS) you are never Home Alone!

On July 19, Overture Home Care participated in the Tarrant Area Gerontological Society (TAGS) Summer Forum. Our SVP Paige Wolk is currently the Membership Chair and past president of the TAGS board, and we enthusiastically support the TAGS mission to provide education, recognition and scholarship support to healthcare professionals who work with the elderly in our area.

There were 250 healthcare professionals in attendance at this year's Summer Forum, with six speakers giving out continuing education credits, and $12,000 in scholarships awarded to worthy individuals furthering their education in the field of aging. We are proud to say that all our Overture Home Care nurses and social workers attended the learning sessions — and that our exhibit hall booth, run by Alex Helms and Stephanie Jeffers, was awarded Best Overall Booth!

The theme for this year's forum was "Christmas in July," and we had a hoot creating our Home Alone-themed booth. We also enjoyed networking with our fellow healthcare professionals at the booth, and discussing the services provided by Overture Home Care.

For more information on TAGS advocacy, education, networking events and membership, please visit their website at https://www.tagstarrant.org.
