“There is something special going on over there” — Overture Home Care smashes the industry turnover rate for another year, and our client testimonials tell us why!

Every year, Home Care Pulse (HCP) conducts the largest national survey of employment statistics in the home care industry. In the 2023 HCP Benchmarking Report, the news for most home care agencies was grim as the median caregiver turnover rate jumped from 65% to 77%.

At Overture Home Care, we are thrilled and proud to announce that our compassionate caregivers bucked the HCP trend yet again — with a caregiver turnover rate in 2022 of just 33.18%.

We’d like to honor their dedication by sharing some of the client testimonials we’ve recently received that prove the quality of Overture Home Care caregivers, their unwavering dedication to their clients, and their commitment to compassionate care.

The son of one of our clients wrote to let us know that his father’s caregiver Vivian had come in on her day off to deliver a home-cooked steak-and-salad meal, because her day off landed on Father’s Day and she wanted to be there to celebrate with him.

In the same testimonial, the writer commended caregiver Vea for providing a warm and calming presence around his dad. “He just wanted her to hold his hand and talk to him,” he wrote, “because she always knows the right things to say and do.”

“There is something special going on over there,” the same client wrote about Overture Home Care and our caregivers. “It’s not just a job for them.”

Another client wrote a testimonial for caregivers Tiasha and Sakina that brought tears to our eyes, and that we have to quote at length:

I do not have enough words to express my gratitude in regard to Tiasha and Sakina. Their sincere presence when mom passed away was a comfort to us all.

From the beginning, Tiasha gave us such reassurance that my parents’ needs would be met, which was incredibly comforting since my dad is blind.

We were so blessed by the way Tiasha handles herself. She is prompt, kind, professional, caring, smart, honest, a quick problem solver, encouraging, happy, a forward thinker, and on and on. I don't know how we would have cared for mom without her direction.

From the first time my parents met Sakina they fell in love with her as well. Like Tiasha, Sakina is caring, kind, honest, trustworthy, encouraging, professional, and can recognize a need and take initiative to solve any issue.

I witnessed Tiasha and Sakina come alongside us to nurture mom during her decline and encourage dad. My parents felt safe with them. What a comfort this was for me and my brother: two precious women that go above and beyond their job description.

Now they are caregiving for dad, encouraging him and mourning with him as well. We know our dad is in good hands. I can leave dad's apartment knowing he is cared for and that they are only a quick call away if he needs anything.

Dignity is something that's hard for our elderly to have when life gets hard. Dignity is what your team brings to the table.
