Year in Review for 2023 / Goals for 2024
Happy New Year and welcome to the Overture Home Care 2023 Year in Review! We had an exciting time last year, full of milestones, educational excellence, and heart-warming achievements.
Our biggest achievement of the year was the opening of our new Overture Home Care location in Dallas, Texas. From this new office, our compassionate caregivers became available to provide high-quality service and support to the residents of Dallas County, including the communities of Highland Park, University Park, Addison, Farmers Branch and Richardson.
Next up, we’re so proud of the year’s worth of educational content and resources for our clients and their loved ones that we provided through our monthly newsletter and the related blog on our website.
Along with providing articles in the newsletter and blog on aging, health and wellness, safety information, and prescription drug updates, we also celebrated the awards and achievements of our Overture Home Care caregivers and office staff, with highlights such as our sponsorship, support and participation in the 2023 Fort Worth and Dallas Walks to End Alzheimer’s and The Longest Day® events, honoring Lindsay Dail as our Vivian Y. McNary Caregiver of the Year, the recognition of Overture Home Care as a 2023 Best of Home Care Employer of Choice by Home Care Pulse, and our continued success at smashing the industry-wide caregiver retention rate for yet another year!
Our proudest achievement, though, is our ongoing effort to provide professional education and training to our entire staff — office workers and caregivers — as well as members of our community, with a focus on compassionate dementia understanding and support, nursing and social work, and customer care and satisfaction. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this effort in 2023.
For 2024, we’re setting some new goals —
First, we’ve updated our newsletter and blog structure to provide more focused content like recommended items, classes, events, books, podcasts and other media, to make this resource even more useful to our clients and their families. We’re also hard at work designing and launching a new Overture Home Care website that will be both desktop and mobile-friendly, for our clients on-the-go. Stay tuned for more information on that effort coming soon!
We are also committed to continue providing education and training to our staff and to the wider community around both our Fort Worth and Dallas offices. And we’ll be hosting, sponsoring, and supporting more exciting local events to connect with our communities and get to know our clients and their families and caregivers.
Finally, we’re looking forward to smashing that industry-wide caregiver retention rate for a third year in a row. If anyone can do it, we know that it’s the compassionate caregivers from Overture Home Care.
