Dr. Janice Knebl — dressed as an onion, her favorite vegetable — educated and entertained with an interactive presentation on how research informs healthy aging.

And here’s one more event, as described in this month’s University of North Texas HSC Health Center for Older Adults newsletter: “On October 31, SAGE Senior Mentors flocked to the HSC campus for a special event planned just for them. Dr. Janice Knebl — dressed as an onion, her favorite vegetable — educated and entertained with an interactive presentation on how research informs healthy aging. Mentors learned about opportunities to participate in research with the AHEAD Study and the Regional Simulation Center. Thank you to our friends at The Stayton, Reliant at Home, and Overture Home Care for providing refreshments and fall decor.”
